I’ve been with MIGLIO 5792 furniture factory for 8 years, and my work begins where comfort truly starts — the foundation.

For every sofa, I stretch and secure elastic webbing that is 5 and 7 cm wide, far beyond standard specifications. This stronger base ensures long-term support and lasting resilience.

Next, I use E0-grade eco-friendly adhesive to hand-bond layers of foam — each area matched with a different density and elasticity, so the seat, back, and arms all deliver the right balance of softness and support.

Once the foam is set, I hand-sand every contour, refining the shape until the surface is flat, full, and ready for upholstery.
It’s a moment where craftsmanship meets responsibility — precision for quality, and sustainable materials for the planet.
